About The Position

The Sales and Service Representative processes transactions and other customer service requests in the branch. The role facilitates customer awareness and education of bank capabilities, tools, and resources, and supports branch sales efforts by identifying and referring sales opportunities to the appropriate bank partner. The successful candidate is comfortable proactively engaging in conversation, demonstrates professionalism and empathy with customers, learns and adapts quickly to new information and technology, builds strong team and cross-functional relationships, handles multiple demands and shifting priorities, and moves efficiently through problem resolution.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of customer service experience.
Financial literacy.
Knowledge of retail banking products and services.

Responsibilities

Initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities.
Listen attentively and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and preferences, then promptly address immediate needs.
Seek coaching, support bank initiatives, and leverage tools to optimize performance.
Comply with regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risks related to customer interactions, transactions, and financial exposures.
Complete required training by established deadlines.
Perform assigned general office management duties to support operational efficiency.
Maintain transaction accuracy and operational efficiency for deposit-taking functions; results may include individual and team performance accountability.
