About The Position

Join our team at Grant Aviation as a Flight Standards Manager, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the standardization of all flight policies and procedures in accordance with applicable regulations. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you'll oversee the development and maintenance of our flight standards to uphold our commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism. Your responsibilities will include creating, reviewing, and revising an advanced qualification program to align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You'll develop and implement advanced qualification programs, supervise and train ground and flight instructor personnel, and coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure consistency in our pilot training programs. As a Flight Standards Manager, you'll enforce departmental safety objectives, liaise with regulatory authorities, and serve as a company flight instructor and check airman as required. You'll work closely with the Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, Assistant Chief Pilot, Flight Training Manager, LMS Manager, and Pilot Records Clerk to maintain compliance and uphold our high standards of excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating
  • Experience in Part 135 or 121 operations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
