•$155,000 - $215,000

About The Position

Reliable Robotics is developing safety-enhancing technology for aviation, with the goal of making air transportation safer and more convenient. The Flight Software Engineer develops highly deterministic C++ software in a bare-metal environment, working with sensors and control systems, handling system faults robustly, and integrating with other vehicle subsystems. The role includes driving requirements and implementing unit tests. The position offers opportunities to work directly with flight hardware in the lab and on the aircraft, plan flight testing, and see software operate in flight. Flight software connects the mechanical, avionics, algorithmic, and embedded components of the aircraft, providing opportunities to collaborate across teams and specialize in areas of interest. Employment is contingent on the applicant’s ability to comply with U.S. export control laws. Applicants must provide documentation establishing their U.S.-person or non-U.S.-person status. The company may decline to pursue an export license or continue an application where access to controlled technology requires authorization.
