About The Position

The Deployment Logistics Specialist coordinates logistics support for deployed flight operations sites, ensuring operational readiness through effective inventory management, asset accountability, equipment movement, and resupply planning. This role serves as the primary logistics point of contact for assigned sites and works closely with Flight Operations, Maintenance, Program Management, and customer representatives to support mission success through deployment planning, field logistics coordination, and operational sustainment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, aviation operations support, or a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Proficiency with logistics databases and Microsoft Excel.
Working knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics planning principles.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods in support of deployed operations.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
Ability to support short-notice deployments and operational requirements.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
Experience supporting remote, expeditionary, military, aviation, or deployed operations.
Experience coordinating international shipments and customs documentation.
Experience with Veyron (formerly FlightDocs) or similar logistics and inventory management systems.
Experience supporting Program Managers and customer-facing operational activities.
Familiarity with logistics readiness reporting and inventory forecasting methodologies.
Experience supporting UAS, aerospace, or defense operations.

Responsibilities

Support the activation, sustainment, and logistics readiness of assigned deployed flight operations locations.
Coordinate the shipment, receipt, staging, tracking, and accountability of equipment, tools, materials, and supplies required to support deployed operations.
Assist with site setup activities to ensure logistics readiness prior to operational start.
Serve as the primary logistics coordinator for one or more assigned operational sites.
Maintain visibility of inventory levels, support equipment status, and logistics requirements at assigned locations.
Monitor inventory utilization, consumption trends, and stock levels to ensure continuous operational support.
Forecast replenishment requirements and coordinate resupply actions to prevent operational disruptions.
Maintain accurate inventory records and asset accountability within approved logistics systems.
Track equipment movement and delivery status to ensure timely arrival of mission-critical assets.
Coordinate domestic and international shipments supporting deployed flight operations.
Support customs, import/export, and hazardous material documentation activities as required.
Coordinate logistics activities with Program Managers, Site Leads, Maintenance personnel, Flight Operations staff, and customer representatives.
Travel to deployment locations for extended periods to support site activation, inventory audits, customer deliveries, and logistics operations.
Conduct periodic site visits to validate inventory accountability, operational readiness, and logistics processes.
Support operational requirements by performing duties as a UAS Maintainer when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned and/or required.
