This position will support the Gulfstream Flight Operations organization to improve efficiency across the company's Gulfstream fleet. Interns will interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Manager and VP of Flight Ops to complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for all mission-specific Gulfstream fleets (e.g., production test, demonstration, Airborne Customer Support). Complete assigned projects and work plans that include - but are not limited to – flight safety systems, business intelligence/analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering. Support efficient work practices and processes.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college aviation program such as pilot training, aircraft dispatch, business aviation, engineering technology (A&P technician), aviation maintenance or a related field.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Completion of sophomore year is required prior to the internship start date.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and understanding of multiple operating systems and Microsoft Office suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Gulfstream Flight Operations organization to improve efficiency across the company's Gulfstream fleet.
  • Interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Manager and VP of Flight Ops to complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for all mission-specific Gulfstream fleets (e.g., production test, demonstration, Airborne Customer Support).
  • Complete assigned projects and work plans that include - but are not limited to – flight safety systems, business intelligence/analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
  • Support efficient work practices and processes.
  • Comply with safety rules and procedures.
  • Ensure application of all Gulfstream regulations and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
