About The Position

Gulfstream Aerospace, a division of General Dynamics, is seeking a Flight Operations College Intern for Summer 2027. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college aviation program such as pilot training, aircraft dispatch, business aviation, engineering technology (A&P technician), aviation maintenance or a related field.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Completion of sophomore year is required prior to the internship start date.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
• Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and understanding of multiple operating systems and Microsoft Office suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Gulfstream Flight Operations organization to improve efficiency across the company's Gulfstream fleet.
• Interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Manager, and VP of Flight Ops to complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for all mission-specific Gulfstream fleets (e.g., production test, demonstration, Airborne Customer Support).
• Complete assigned projects and work plans that include flight safety systems, business intelligence/analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• Support efficient work practices and processes.
• Comply with safety rules and procedures.
• Ensure application of all Gulfstream regulations and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
