Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (Registered in Canada)
  • 3+ years of emergency, flight, or ICU experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and adaptability skills
  • Valid CPR, ACLS, ITLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, remote, and unpredictable environments
  • Willingness to travel on small aircraft in varied weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Air Ambulance experience
  • Instructor status for CPR, ACLS, ITLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced patient care in high-stakes environments, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and obstetric emergencies.
  • Perform aeromedical evacuations (medevacs) and stabilize patients for transport.
  • Conduct patient assessments and initiate critical interventions per medical protocols.
  • Prepare & maintain medical equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Communicate effectively with hospitals, dispatch, and aircrew to coordinate care.
  • Participate in ongoing training & simulations to enhance emergency response skills.
