About The Position

The Flight Manager is responsible for the daily oversight of assigned subcontractors aboard charter aircraft and serves as the frontline representative for CSI. This role operates in a fast-paced, high-visibility, high-stress environment where priorities may shift quickly. The position requires the ability to remain focused, assess situations, make sound decisions, manage competing priorities and perform at a high level under pressure while representing the organization in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of aviation operations, geography, customer service, and aircraft types
  • Min 2+ years of general experience in either: military service, local/state/federal law enforcement
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with multiple departments and customers
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with flight tracking officers regarding the progress of the mission at each leg of the flight
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the carrier, client, and Operations Center at the assigned base
  • Communicate with the CSI Operations Center regarding manifest or itinerary changes
  • Monitor flight operations and report discrepancies, delays, or logistical concerns
  • Confirm exchange operations are complete and accurate before notifying the flight crew and relevant parties
  • Promote and enforce aircraft safety procedures
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and report issues affecting operational effectiveness
  • Assist with coordinating equipment and services necessary to support on-time departures
  • Coordinate aircraft security matters
  • Make flight take off and landing notifications and send updated manifest with any changes
  • Review manifests and other required documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain clear communication in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment
  • Uphold strict confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards
  • Report medical emergencies or operational issues involving airport or contract personnel to leadership
  • Maintain familiarity with the Aircraft Emergency Evacuation Plan
  • Support Temporary Duty Assignments (14–30 days)
  • Ensure contractual compliance during flight operations
  • Perform other duties as required
