About The Position

Seneca Flight Operations, a division of Seneca Foods Corporation, is an aircraft charter company and the Fixed Base Operator at the Penn Yan Airport. Established in 1956, it manages all airport operations, including summer mowing, winter plowing of runways and taxiways, and maintenance of airport buildings, lights, and infrastructure. This full-time flight line position is available within Seneca Flight Operations.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a computer
• Ability to be trained on proprietary Hertz Rental car software
• Valid NYS driver license
• Ability to operate an Aircraft tug
• Ability to operate a Highway grade snow plow / snow blower
• Ability to operate a Farm grade tractor with plow and/or mower attachments
• Ability to operate a Fork lift
• Required to learn FAA requirements for airport fueling operations including proper fuel maintenance and receiving techniques
• Ability to do limited work on fleet aircraft under the strict supervision and direction of certified aircraft mechanics
• Pre-employment drug testing
• Random drug and alcohol screening while employed
• Live within 30 minutes of the airport

Responsibilities

• Maintaining aircraft and airport facilities
