About The Position

Flight Instructors are responsible for delivering quality, professional flight instruction IAW 14 CFR Part 141 using detailed training syllabi. Teaching responsibilities consist of flight related courses such as private, instrument, commercial, CFI and additional courses as well as the corresponding ground schools. CFIs are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal Regulations and ensuring aviation safety. The flight instructor is responsible for the safe operation of aircraft in which flight instruction is being given. He or she determines the student's proficiency and reports back to the Assistant Chief Instructor on their progression. Information of a confidential nature regarding students, fellow employees, or FIT Aviation, must be treated as such.
