About The Position

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) seeks a dynamic, student-centered, and forward-thinking Flight Data Reception and Records Operations Professional. This customer service professional will support the Flight Data & Certification Department as the first point of contact with the customer and strives to meet their needs in a professional, cheerful, courteous and efficient manner. Records collected in the department will be submitted to the FAA, so accuracy is demanded of the position.

Requirements

  • Analytical skills with an in depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications such as ETA.

  • Familiarity with flight training paperwork and lingo

Responsibilities

  • Receiving students and colleagues at the reception desk
  • Answering the phone and emails
  • Reviewing documentation for errors and scanning documents to support the process
  • Performing data entry
  • Supporting the needs of the Analysts, Specialist, ACR and Manager
  • Guiding student assistants in support of those tasks
