The Boeing Company is hiring for a Flight Controls Systems Service Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate) to join our Boeing Commercial Airplane division in Seal Beach, California. As a Flight Controls Systems Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers’ operations of most of our Boeing Commercial Airplane models. This includes primarily the 787 operating fleets, and opportunities to support all other Boeing and McDonnell-Douglas models. You will collaborate directly with airline customers to resolve issues related to aircraft flight controls systems, including both primary (ailerons, elevators, rudder) and secondary (spoilers, horizontal stabilizer, leading-edge slats and flaps, trailing-edge flaps) flight control surfaces. Flexibility is important as you may need to address urgent issues and lead technical airline meetings outside regular working hours. There may be days or periods where you need to work non-standard shifts to support the 24/7/365 operation of the fleet - Saturday and Sunday work will occasionally be required. Additionally, this role involves traveling domestically or internationally around 10% of the time to support airline technical troubleshooting, repairs, and review meetings. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Flight Controls Systems Service Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate).
