As a Flight Control Systems Engineer, you will implement and improve flight control algorithms; run simulations and analyses to validate control-law design; and draft tests to verify system-level behavior in laboratories and on aircraft. You will work with the system test team to debug and verify system performance and failure handling, and support certification engineers with requirements and reviews of test cases and procedures. You will collaborate with the modeling team to develop simulations and analysis frameworks for collecting and presenting design data, and work across aircraft, safety, avionics, loads, performance, and rotor dynamics teams to identify deficiencies and refine the aircraft design. You will also work with test pilots on handling and flying characteristics, participate in mission planning and scenario simulations, support envelope-expansion flight testing in person, and coordinate with software engineers to ensure relevant tests and artifacts are produced, stored, and linked.
