About The Position

Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking solo operating Flight Attendants for full-time positions at their Vancouver base. This role offers the chance to work in beautiful, remote coastal destinations. Initial training is mandatory and lasts for 4 weeks in Vancouver, commencing June 8th, 2026.

Requirements

  • Customer Service experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Possession of Canadian Passport or proof of citizenship
  • Possession of valid Birth Certificate
  • Must be able to obtain a Transport Canada issued Restricted Area Identity Card prior to end of Initial training program without delay
  • Excellent English language written and oral communication skills
  • Be equipped for the physical demands of the position
  • Comfortable working onboard single Flight Attendant aircraft and small cabin environment
  • Must be a minimum height of 5'2" and maximum height of 5’11” in order to complete all standards required
  • Must work independently without supervision
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must complete an intensive initial training, practical evacuation drills and emergency drills including first aid and live firefighting successfully
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Capable of working long hours for extended periods of time
  • Able to travel away from home, with schedule changes and on call duty days
  • A true customer service ambassador who's passionate about people
  • An understanding of the significance of safely performing on time, and bring a proven track record for punctuality and reliability

  • Ability to be away from home for extended periods - including holidays and weekends, day or night with flexibility to manage a busy schedule
  • Accept the reality that Flight Attendants operate on a shift-like schedule that includes early mornings, evenings weekends and holidays that may include long shifts up to 14 hours per day and overnights keeping you away from home regularly
  • Agree that this challenging role takes place onboard an aircraft and can be physically, emotionally demanding and highly stressful

Responsibilities

  • Attend daily pre-flight safety briefings
  • Ensure the safety, security, and comfort of all guests
  • Ensure all safety, security, and emergency equipment is quality checked prior to departure and monitored during the flight
  • Explain safety procedures, demonstrate the use of emergency equipment, and direct passengers in the event of an emergency
  • Complete onboard announcements
  • Provide onboard service of snacks and beverages, and ensure that all necessary supplies are on board
  • Administer first aid to passengers as required
  • Submit reports on the cabin condition, as well as on any medical situations or events that may have occurred during the flight
  • Honor and contribute to Pacific Coastal Safety culture and safety reporting
  • Follow and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with Pacific Coastal Airlines and regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned by Cabin Safety Leadership
