About The Position
The Flexographic Press Operator operates a flexographic printing press to produce high-quality labels that meet the production schedule and customer requirements. This role involves running various color jobs, ensuring label quality matches customer proofs and color standards, and adhering to established procedures and safety practices. The operator will also be responsible for routine maintenance, cleaning, and communication with supervisors to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- At least 1+ year of Flexographic Printing experience.
- Detailed-Oriented and capable of following standard work instructions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to communicate and work with co-workers effectively.
Responsibilities
- Run 4 to 10 color jobs including process and spot color printing.
- Produce labels that match customer signed proofs and color standards.
- Follow established quality management system procedures.
- Communicate job-specific information or changes to the supervisor in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
- Complete quality documents to ensure adherence to procedures.
- Inspect and clean press parts regularly and report a need for repairs/maintenance.
- Adhere to all established safety practices.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
