Flexographic Press Operator
About The Position
The Flexographic Press Operator operates a flexographic printing press to produce high-quality labels that meet the production schedule and customer requirements. This role involves running 4 to 10 color jobs, including process and spot color printing, ensuring labels match customer signed proofs and color standards. The operator will follow established quality management system procedures, communicate job-specific information to the supervisor, and complete quality documents. Responsibilities also include inspecting and cleaning press parts, adhering to safety practices, and maintaining a clean work area.
Requirements
- At least 1+ year of Flexographic Printing experience.
- Detailed-Oriented and capable of following standard work instructions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to communicate and work with co-workers effectively.
Responsibilities
- Run 4 to 10 color jobs including process and spot color printing.
- Produce labels that match customer signed proofs and color standards.
- Follow established quality management system procedures.
- Communicate job-specific information or changes to the supervisor in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
- Complete quality documents to ensure adherence to procedures.
- Inspect and clean press parts regularly and report a need for repairs/maintenance.
- Adhere to all established safety practices.
- Maintain a clean work area.
