About The Position

The Flexographic Press Operator operates a flexographic printing press to produce high-quality labels that meet production schedules and customer requirements. The role runs 4- to 10-color jobs, including process and spot color printing, and produces labels that match customer-approved proofs and color standards. The operator follows quality management and safety procedures, completes quality documentation, communicates job-specific information and changes to the supervisor, and inspects and cleans press components while reporting repair or maintenance needs. The work takes place in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment. The available shift is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.; the training shift is to be determined. Pay is based on experience.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of flexographic printing experience.
• Detail-oriented and capable of following standard work instructions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with co-workers.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including regularly lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds, with or without assistance.
• Ability to safely work in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Run 4- to 10-color jobs, including process and spot color printing.
• Produce labels that match customer-signed proofs and color standards.
• Follow established quality management system procedures.
• Communicate job-specific information or changes to the supervisor in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
• Complete quality documents to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Inspect and clean press parts regularly and report repair or maintenance needs.
• Adhere to established safety practices.
• Maintain a clean work area.
