Our culture is customer-driven, team-oriented, and built on win-win partnerships. As a Flexographic Press Operator, you will play a vital role in creating some of the best labels in the country. The Extended Content Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining flexographic printing presses that produce high-quality extended content labels, including booklet, peel-and-reseal, and multi-layer labels. This role ensures all products meet customer specifications, quality standards and production schedules while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Experience with extended content labels, booklet labels, or peel-and-reseal labels is highly desirable.
- Must have a good understanding of flexographic printing processes, color management, and press mechanics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to efficiency and quality.
- Ability to lift, stand, and work physically as required for press operation.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing presses producing extended content labels.
- Read and interpret job tickets, specifications, artwork, and production schedules.
- Install printing plates, inks, dies, and substrates according to job requirements.
- Maintain proper color registration, print quality, and die-cut accuracy throughout production.
- Perform press adjustments to optimize print quality and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and correct print issues quickly to minimize downtime and material waste.
- Complete routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.
- Meet daily production and efficiency goals.
