Flex Warehouse Operator, Seasonal Part Time
About The Position
This role is for a Seasonal Part Time Flex Warehouse Operator. The position requires a minimum of 16 hours per week and a maximum of 29 hours per week, with employment dates from June 15, 2026, through December 1, 2026. The shift is 8 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Thursday. In this role, you will be a key member of the warehousing team, performing front-line processes to ensure successful delivery of final products. You will gain skills in warehouse operations, including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading final products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing warehouse areas. You will operate a forklift daily and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed. This position is part of the Purina Animal Nutrition business, which serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States by innovating nutrition products and practices for animal health and productivity. Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- 6+ months of work experience in any industry
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
- Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
- Successful forklift certification required

Responsibilities
- Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
- Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
- Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery
- Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
- Operate daily on a forklift and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed
- Coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries
