About The Position

Odeko is hiring a Flex Warehouse Associate/Driver to deliver customer orders in the Austin area and perform warehouse fulfillment work when not driving a route. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts beginning at 6 or 7 a.m. and ending at 2:30 or 3:30 p.m. The position pays $20 per hour, paid weekly. The role involves safe delivery and handling of customer orders, operating warehouse equipment, assembling packages, and assisting with inventory and vehicle loading and unloading. Candidates must be able to lift packages weighing up to 60 pounds, enter and exit a van numerous times during a shift, and have experience driving in the Austin area.

Requirements

Experience driving in the Austin area.
Must have held a state driver’s license for at least four years.
Able to lift packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
Able to get in and out of a van numerous times in a shift.
Strong attention to detail.
Able and willing to learn new processes and technology.
Able to read, write, understand, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Drive across the area delivering customer orders while following safety protocols.
Enter and exit the delivery vehicle while transporting customer orders.
Determine merchandise placement during deliveries while following safety and lifting protocols.
Use a hand truck to move packages across stairs, ramps, and other levels.
Identify order issues and resolve them in real time.
Move boxes weighing up to 60 pounds throughout the fulfillment center.
Operate an RF scanner, hand truck, pallet jack, or electric pallet jack to move inventory throughout the fulfillment center.
Assemble customer packages.
Assist with inventory management, including counting and inspecting items.
Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Work in the warehouse when not driving a route.
