About The Position

Direct Protective Services (DPS) is seeking a motivated and adaptable Flex Supervisor to join their team. This role requires the ability to work overnights. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills, with a knack for adapting to changing circumstances. While prior experience as a Security Supervisor is preferred, it is not mandatory. As a Flex Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to shape this new role while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional security services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CLEET Phase IV License.
• Previous experience in security or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills.
• Ability to work overnights and occasionally days and evenings as needed.
• Adaptability to changing circumstances.
• Must have a Team Player or a Play me where you need me attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Security supervisory experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to schedule changes and last-minute call-ins, including personally filling shifts when necessary.
• Assist the Director of Security in overseeing daily operations, including managing work schedules, assisting with disciplinary actions and performance reviews, providing consistent coaching and skill development for employees, maintaining accurate records and addressing customer inquiries as needed.
• Conducting random site checks to verify employee adherence to DPS and client policies and procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain clear communication with DPS clients.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations.
• Cross-train in other areas of DPS and take on additional duties as needed.
