Danbury/New Milford - Healthcare Security Officer
About The Position
We’re looking for Flex Security Officers to work in a healthcare environment at our New Milford and Danbury locations. This role helps protect patients, staff, visitors, and property while maintaining a professional and caring presence. Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements
- Must be able to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed
- Physical examination required
- Drug test required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Previous security experience
- Valid CT State security guard card/license
Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor facility premises
- Observe and report safety or security concerns
- Respond to incidents and follow established procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
- Enforce facility rules and regulations in a professional manner
- Complete clear and accurate incident reports
