The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly in emergencies
Reliable transportation to travel between sites in the Danbury area
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare environment
Must be able to pass all required background checks and screenings

Responsibilities

Provide a visible security presence at healthcare facilities
Patrol and monitor premises to help protect patients, staff, visitors, and property
Observe and report incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity
Respond to emergencies and follow site-specific procedures
Enforce site rules and regulations in a professional, respectful manner
Complete clear, accurate written reports
