About The Position

Clarke Vehicare is hiring skilled Fleet Mechanics/Truck Technicians to maintain their fleet, which primarily consists of Company Vehicles and Class 8 Trucks. This role involves using technology for repair documentation and offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and career growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have truck mechanic training or experience.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
• Previous diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment experience is strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

• CDL a Plus or Able to obtain CDL

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on tractors, trailers, MHE, auto, and other equipment.
• Diagnose and repair all types of mechanical issues including engines, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, A/C, and more.
• Test drive vehicles under 26,000 GVW.
• Work independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Use smartphone, laptop, and tablet technology to record all repairs.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
