About The Position

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles to keep drivers safe and on the road delivering PepsiCo brands. Technical skills and preventative work ensure vehicles are reliable and communities stay stocked. The role includes hands-on and classroom training and takes place in a fast-paced, hands-on workplace.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid Non-DOT Driver's License.
Have no driver's license suspension or revocation in connection with a moving violation within the past three years.
Be able to lift 50 pounds or more, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Be able to work in tight spaces for extended periods, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Be able to work on or under trucks for an entire shift of 8 to 12 hours, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance.
Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.
