About The Position

FCC Environmental Services is seeking an experienced Fleet Technician for their 2nd Shift operations in Boynton Beach, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, running diagnostics on vehicles, and collaborating with team members to achieve operational goals. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of fleet maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical reference materials, equipment manuals, and repair documentation.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications and diagnostic software.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Professional, dependable, and safety-focused work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Welding and body fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
  • Conducts routine preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes.
  • Collaborates with the repair team to diagnose vehicle issues and develop repair solutions.
  • Maintains accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
  • Repairs, modifies, and performs preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles as needed.
  • Completes all required preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions.
  • Inspects fleet vehicles to ensure DOT compliance, including brake maintenance and safety inspections.
  • Completes all required daily reporting.
  • Maintains equipment, parts, and supply inventories by monitoring stock levels.
  • Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following established procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Adheres to all Company, DOT, and OSHA safety standards and regulations.
