About The Position

Coke Florida is looking for a Fleet Technician based out of our Jacksonville location. Working Monday - Friday 4AM- 12:30 PM. As a Coke Florida Fleet Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet assets to maximize uptime and performance. This role requires independent troubleshooting, repair ownership and rapid issue resolution skills and experience.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of fleet maintenance experience across light/medium/heavy-duty vehicles
  • Strong working knowledge of: Diesel, gasoline, propane and/or electric systems
  • Ability to: Work independently with minimal supervisor and direction
  • Diagnose root cause vs symptoms
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT compliance
  • Basic proficiency with fleet management or work order systems
  • Basic Computer skills to include knowledge of web-based fleet tools and MS Office 365
  • Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman electrician
  • Experience with welding
  • Gasoline, diesel, propane and/or electric vehicle experience preferred
  • ASE certification and CDL license or certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across fleet, to include diesel vehicles, Power Industrial Truck (PIT) Equipment, Vans and other vehicles associated with our Fleet
  • Trouble shoot: Electrical Systems, Engine performance issues, Hydraulic and fuel systems
  • Execute preventative maintenance in alignment with DOT and company standards
  • Respond to roadside breakdowns (when applicable) and urgent service calls
  • Accurately document diagnostics, repairs and parts usage
  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying: Repeated failures, Maintenance inefficiencies
