About The Position

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) is a family-owned independent Coca-Cola bottler that is the third largest privately-held and the sixth largest independent Coca-Cola bottler in the United States. Coke Florida is looking for a Fleet Technician based out of our Ft. Myers location. Working 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Tuesday - Friday and 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of fleet maintenance experience across light/medium/heavy-duty vehicles
  • Strong working knowledge of Diesel, gasoline, propane and/or electric systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor and direction
  • Ability to diagnose root cause vs symptoms
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT compliance
  • Basic proficiency with fleet management or work order systems
  • Basic Computer skills to include knowledge of web-based fleet tools and MS Office 365
  • Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman electrician
  • Experience with welding
  • Gasoline, diesel, propane and/or electric vehicle experience preferred
  • ASE certification and CDL license or certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across fleet, to include diesel vehicles, Power Industrial Truck (PIT) Equipment, Vans and other vehicles associated with our Fleet
  • Trouble shoot Electrical Systems, Engine performance issues, Hydraulic and fuel systems
  • Execute preventative maintenance in alignment with DOT and company standards
  • Respond to roadside breakdowns (when applicable) and urgent service calls
  • Accurately document diagnostics, repairs and parts usage
  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying repeated failures and maintenance inefficiencies
