About The Position

Coke Florida is looking for a Fleet Technician based out of our Tampa location. Working 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday. As a Coke Florida Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for independently performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to main fleet reliability, safety and operational uptime. This role will own the repair execution while learning advanced diagnostics and repair skills.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of fleet maintenance experience
  • Experience servicing at least two of the following: Diesel vehicles, Light and medium duty trucks, Trailers, PIT Equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor and direction
  • Ability to diagnose root cause vs symptoms
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT compliance
  • Basic proficiency with fleet management or work order systems
  • Basic Computer skills to include knowledge of web-based fleet tools and MS Office 365
  • Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with welding
  • Gasoline, diesel, propane and/or electric vehicle experience preferred
  • ASE certification and CDL license or certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on fleet assets to including but not limited to ; Heavy, Medium, and Light Duty on road vehicles, Trailers and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical failures
  • Complete DOT inspections and documentation
  • Troubleshoot and Repair: Brake systems, Suspensions, Electrical Systems, Fuel Systems, Hydraulic Systems
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs
  • Maintain accurate repair records in Fleet Management Tool
