About The Position

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so Pepsi, Gatorade, Aquafina, and other brands reach communities safely and on time. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with a high degree of independence, using provided tools and programs to diagnose issues and complete repairs. The fleet includes light- and heavy-duty trucks, vans, and forklifts. The role also includes maintaining work orders, vehicle records, and checklists, following safety standards, and responding to service calls as needed. The position is based onsite in Rochester, New York. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at $36.75 per hour. Hands-on and classroom training are provided. The workplace is fast-paced and hands-on, with activity throughout most of the day.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without an accommodation.
Able to reach, lift, carry, push, and pull, with or without an accommodation.
Required certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, and ASE Heavy Duty.
At least 1 year of experience or training in hydraulic and air brake systems, after-treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, diagnostic platforms, and welding.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with a high degree of independence.
Diagnose issues and complete repairs using provided tools and programs.
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on light- and heavy-duty trucks, vans, and forklifts.
Maintain work orders, vehicle records, checklists, and other documentation using provided tools.
Follow safety standards and procedures.
Answer service calls as needed.
