About The Position

The Fleet Technician Tier 2 maintains and repairs fleet vehicles and equipment to help ensure Pepsi, Gatorade, Aquafina, and other products reach communities safely and on time. The role performs preventive maintenance and repairs independently, uses diagnostic tools and programs, and completes advanced diagnostics and repairs across a fleet of light and heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts. Training is provided. The technician maintains work orders, vehicle records, and checklists using provided tools, follows safety standards and procedures, and answers service calls as needed. This is an on-site position in Rochester, New York. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The position offers on-the-job hands-on and classroom training and involves working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, with lifting, bending, and moving product throughout the shift.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without an accommodation.
Must be able to reach, lift, carry, push, and pull, with or without an accommodation.
Required certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, and ASE Heavy Duty.
At least 1 year of experience or training in hydraulic and air brake systems, after-treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, use of diagnostic platforms, and welding.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs with a high degree of independence.
Use diagnostic tools and programs to identify issues and complete repairs.
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on light and heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts.
Maintain work orders, vehicle records, and checklists using provided tools.
Follow safety standards and procedures.
Answer service calls as needed.
