About The Position

Caliber Fleet Solutions has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Service and Maintenance Technician to perform all-purpose duties. This may include testing parts and systems, identifying mechanical problems, following checklists for critical component examination, testing and lubricating the vehicle’s engine and other major components, repairing or replacing worn parts, and explaining automotive problems and repairs to clients.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous collision experience.
• Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform all-purpose duties as an Automotive Service and Maintenance Technician.
• Test parts and systems to ensure proper function.
• Identify mechanical problems.
• Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
• Test and lubricate the vehicle’s engine and other major components.
• Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings.
• Explain automotive problems and repairs to clients.
