About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician I, you'll gain hands-on experience maintaining and repairing equipment while working alongside experienced technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your day may start with preventive maintenance inspections, equipment checks, and responding to maintenance requests throughout the facility. You'll work alongside experienced technicians to troubleshoot equipment issues, replace worn components, complete repairs, and help keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing, or related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical school training or maintenance-related coursework.
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
  • Experience using CMMS software or work order systems.
  • Ability to read basic technical manuals, schematics, or blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and facility equipment.
  • Complete inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic repairs.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment and machinery issues.
  • Replace components such as belts, filters, fuses, and other wear items.
  • Support equipment installations and maintenance projects.
  • Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders.
  • Document maintenance activities using the maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assist senior technicians during equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures while working around equipment and machinery.
