This is a front-line sales role with broad responsibility -- you'll be the face of Ryder's rental operation in your market. Your day-to-day will span sales and marketing, operations and asset management, and customer experience. You will own the full sales process for inbound inquiries and outbound prospecting, execute the business unit's marketing plan, and maintain accurate customer data. You will also maximize rate opportunities and generate leads for rental, lease, and used vehicle sales, build and expand relationships with an existing customer base while actively developing new ones, and coordinate inventory levels to meet customer demand and drive market share. You will take ownership of the profitability, operations, and asset management of your rental location, partner cross-functionally with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing, and maintain compliance with company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. You will also develop deep knowledge of your local market to maximize fleet utilization and drive profitable revenue growth through strong, ongoing customer relationships. Additionally, you will serve as the point of contact for internal and external customer satisfaction and resolve customer concerns and disputes quickly and professionally.
