About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced mechanic who will effectively and skillfully diagnose, inspect, and overhaul SHUTTLES (regular gas) in a timely manner. The maintenance shop is open 24-7. This position requires dependability, self-motivation, good communication skills, and availability to work weekends, night shifts, and holidays. Must have a clean driving history and be willing to go through training. Positions in this job classification are considered safety sensitive and subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing, under Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) drug and alcohol regulations.

Requirements

Automotive service: 2 years (Required)
Automotive repair: 2 years (Required)
ASE Certification (Required)
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with other employees in a professional and friendly manner.
Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with the parking customer, providing resolution as needed to customer issues.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Clean driving history.
Willing to go through training.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, inspect, and overhaul SHUTTLES in a timely manner.
Work independently.
Exercise sound judgment in stressful situations.
Understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions.
Communicate courteously and effectively.
Recognize existing or potential mechanical defects, problems, or maladjustments.
Push, pull and lift up to 35 pounds.
Bend with both knees and back, squat and/or kneel repeatedly.
Stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk, and hear.
Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs.
