About The Position

SRM Concrete is hiring Fleet Mechanics to maintain a fleet of mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other essential heavy equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently to meet project demands and delivery schedules. The company provides training and support for both experienced diesel mechanics and those looking to start their career in fleet maintenance.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment technician.
Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
Vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair.
CDL license.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment, including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Rebuild, replace, or repair major components such as engine heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions.
Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime.
Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures in the workshop and on job sites.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work using company systems.
Stay updated on the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques through ongoing learning.
