About The Position

MMT Ambulance is seeking passionate EMS professionals to join their growing team. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service, and repair of all vehicle and patient transport/securement systems. The ideal candidate will be able to work safely, accurately diagnose vehicle failures, perform repairs, and assist with inventory control. MMT provides ongoing OEM training and supports ASE certifications.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress
• Possess good verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in both light diesel and gas vehicle repair.
• Ability to utilize multiple computer systems, and accurately document all actions in MMT’s Fleet Management System

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with repair and maintenance of ambulance or emergency vehicles is preferred.
• ASE or manufacturers certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs vehicles and equipment.
• Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Documents vehicle records in Fleet Management system.
• Execute major and minor repairs of defective components and vehicle systems.
• Sources and procures parts/supplies through MMT national accounts
• Maintain work environment in an organized and safe condition
