About The Position

The Fleet Mechanic performs mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles. The role troubleshoots, diagnoses, and completes repairs on all types of vehicles while ensuring the safety of people, the workplace, and the environment and meeting company, legal, and other requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment.
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• CDL Class A required.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 years of journeyman mechanic experience.
• Gasoline, diesel, and propane vehicle experience.
• ASE certification.
• May be required to supply automotive hand tools, excluding heavy-duty or diagnostic tools.
