Fleet Mechanic / Truck TechnicianTOP PAY $28 -$38 per hourMonday – Friday: 9am-6pm Do you have Diesel or Auto Technician experience and looking for a great new opportunity? ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Use of Smartphone, Laptop, and Tablet Technology to Record all Repairs Mostly Repairs and Maintains Light & Medium Duty Customer Vehicles in a Dedicated Shop Some Heavier Class 8-9 Standard Tech Owned Tools Required Major Shop Tools and Diagnostic Equipment is Provided Other duties may be assigned PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. The associate must be able to read and write reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE One year Light – Medium Duty Truck Repair Experience required One year certificate from college or technical school Preferred Fleet or Auto Experience acceptable CERTIFICATES and LICENSES Valid Driver's License Preferred - CDL or ability to acquire CDL ASE certifications are a plus Why should you apply? Requirements
- Standard Tech Owned Tools Required
- Major Shop Tools and Diagnostic Equipment is Provided
- Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
- One year Light – Medium Duty Truck Repair Experience required
- Valid Driver's License
Nice To Haves
- One year certificate from college or technical school Preferred
- Fleet or Auto Experience acceptable
- Preferred - CDL or ability to acquire CDL
- ASE certifications are a plus
