About The Position

The Fleet manager is responsible for procurement, maintenance, distribution, and record keeping of all Inter-Con Security fleet vehicles for NY Metro area, ensuring the proper support and operation of various security contracts. This role oversees vendor management, vehicle logistics, compliance, and reporting to maintain operational readiness and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a Regionally Accredited University; OR at least 3-year experience in Fleet gained from the military, retail, or other related setting.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Geotab and/or any other Telematics systems.
  • Experience in creating, optimizing, and implementing processes
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent customer focus and collaboration skills

  • Experience working with internal service teams and customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accountability, inspection, and inventory control of all company vehicles and related equipment across the NY Metro area.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and quarterly inventory checks.
  • Coordinate the issuing and receiving of vehicles based on operational needs.
  • Manage vehicle procurement and establish relationships with approved vendors.
  • Track and report on driver safety scores on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Administer and follow up on all vehicle insurance claims and incident reports.
  • Reserve and manage rental vehicles for various contracts.
  • Oversee vendor relationships including mechanics, body shops, car washes, and telematics providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of all vehicle-related expenses and generate regular reporting.
  • Issue and retrieve fuel cards and PINs for authorized users.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as invoice approval, form updates, and maintenance calendar management.
  • Supports special projects related to new contract launches or closures, as assigned.
  • Execute additional duties as directed by the Procurement and Logistics Lead or Manager.
  • Assist Procurement and Logistics Lead and Manager with projects and deadlines such as new and closing contracts.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by the Director of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement.
