About The Position

We’re hiring an experienced Fleet & Safety Manager to manage daily fleet operations including scheduling, inspections, and vehicle tracking. This role involves coordinating preventative maintenance, repairs, and service schedules for company vehicles and equipment, while monitoring fuel usage, vehicle performance, and operational costs. The Fleet & Safety Manager will ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies, conduct safety training and driver orientation programs, and investigate accidents, incidents, and safety concerns while implementing corrective actions. Responsibilities also include maintaining records for inspections, insurance, licenses, registrations, and maintenance logs, developing and enforcing fleet safety procedures and workplace safety programs, coordinating with vendors, mechanics, and management teams, and performing regular safety audits and vehicle inspections.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of irrigation experience, including leadership or crew management
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, troubleshooting, and water management practices
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to manage multiple crews, priorities, and schedules
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skill
  • Ability to work outdoors and lift 50+ lbs as needed
