The Fleet Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences by ensuring the fleet is highly functional, well-maintained, thoroughly documented, and equipped with advanced technology.   • Associate Degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of mechanical repair.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License and DOT card.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite required.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously,
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

  • Commitment to Pipe View America’s core values, mission, and programs.
  • Monitor and act upon vehicle and equipment inspection reports.
  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are safe to operate per DOT and company standards.
  • Research and assist purchase of new fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Update databases and inventory for new or removed vehicles and equipment.
  • Update databases and inventory for vehicle and equipment repairs.
  • Schedule equipment and vehicle repairs for minimum impact to operations.
  • Hold teammates accountable for timely and thorough reporting of damaged vehicles and equipment.
  • Hold teammates accountable for the cleanliness of their vehicles and equipment.
  • Repair equipment or vehicles when cost effective and time allows.
  • Transport vehicles or equipment to and from repair locations.
  • Train teammates on specific maintenance items they can perform on their equipment.
  • Assist with new teammate orientation of equipment, high level overview of maintenance and cost.
  • Attend meetings with senior management.
  • Performs related duties as required.
