Requirements

High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
3+ years of distribution, logistics, transportation, or related work experience
Ability to create, manage, and calculate routes
Experience with DQ file compliance
Proficiency in Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

bachelor's degree
experience with RoadNet
CDL A Drivers Licence

Responsibilities

Oversee the repair and maintenance operations for all bobtails, tractor and trailers.
Develop/implement/monitor adherence to policies and procedures; answer telephone correspondence; interview employee candidates; prepare employee evaluations
Run/analyze productivity and operational reports through Routing Software
Work with dispatch to ensure accuracy of assignment of routes
Creates and manages Driver Qualification (DQ) files
Establish delivery routes that are cost-effective and compliant with Federal, State and local laws, DOT guidelines, policy or regulations
Engage with employees by conducting monthly tailgate sessions and quarterly safety meetings
Conduct accident/incident interviews with drivers
