Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of distribution, logistics, transportation, or related work experience
  • Ability to create, manage, and calculate routes
  • Experience with DQ file compliance
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with RoadNet is a plus
  • CDL A Drivers Licence is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the repair and maintenance operations for all bobtails, tractor and trailers.
  • Develop/implement/monitor adherence to policies and procedures; answer telephone correspondence; interview employee candidates; prepare employee evaluations
  • Run/analyze productivity and operational reports through Routing Software
  • Work with dispatch to ensure accuracy of assignment of routes
  • Creates and manages Driver Qualification (DQ) files
  • Establish delivery routes that are cost-effective and compliant with Federal, State and local laws, DOT guidelines, policy or regulations
  • Engage with employees by conducting monthly tailgate sessions and quarterly safety meetings
  • Conduct accident/incident interviews with drivers
