Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Five + years of experience as a semi-trailer maintenance technician.
Three years of leadership experience.
Knowledge of semi-trailer and conveyor systems and controls.
Basic understanding of industrial electrical and industrial controls.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures including 90-day bit inspections.
Learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform your primary duties effectively.
Bring mechanical work experience that helps you contribute quickly to maintenance, repair, and inspection work.
Apply knowledge of OSHA requirements in daily work practices.
Maintain a flexible schedule to support 24-hour operations, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Stay dependable and adaptable as business needs, staffing needs, and workload shifts.

Responsibilities

Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
Maintain, and provide routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to fleet trailing equipment.
Supervise multiple trailer maintenance technicians.
Work with Safety department leadership to understand and ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed.
May be required to use a personal vehicle or Company vehicle to conduct business for the Company.
Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.
Ensure all Fleet trailer equipment is inspected, maintained, and repaired in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as company standards.
Ensure a safe working environment for all.
Supervise the Fleet Maintenance Technicians I and II.
