About The Position

McKee Foods is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to join our Truck Garage team. Effectively supervise assigned shifts of Fleet Maintenance employees Communicate/coordinate with other McKee Foods maintenance facilities Provide leadership and training for all Fleet Maintenance employees and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • One or two years of post-high school education (minimum equivalent of 32 semester hours) or proven outstanding ability
  • Three years of supervisory experience in a fleet maintenance organization, or comparable experience
  • Good perception, judgment, and decision making in dealing with people
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Effective in planning, organizing and directing
  • Ability to lead within a team environment
  • Proactive in resolving problems
  • Ability to document and process information
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Flexible to working different work schedules
  • ASE Master Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technician Certification or the ability to obtain within one year

Nice To Haves

  • Five years truck garage supervisory experience
  • Extensive knowledge of parts room inventory control processes
  • Five years’ experience as a diesel technician, with at least two of those years maintaining electronic engines
  • General computer knowledge and skills
  • Current Class “A” CDL or ability to obtain within one year
  • Proficiency with the following computer systems: Maximo, Workday, XRS / Solera
  • Proficiency with the following software programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • OSHA 10 Hour Certification – General Industry Outreach Training
