About The Position

The Fleet Maintenance Operations Coordinator role is within the 70517 Atrium Health Mobile Medicine - Fleet Services department. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. The position is benefits-eligible and has a pay range of $28.55 - $42.85. The coordinator will assist clinical leaders and administrators in developing solutions to maximize patient access and services, manage data for quality reporting, and provide leadership for special projects and departmental taskforces to improve operational efficiencies. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent patient and family communication skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), facilitation, quantitative and analytical skills are required.
  • Strong PC background in computer spreadsheets systems and presentation packages.
  • Experience in patient recruitment, enrollment, and follow up
  • Ability to communicate on a professional level with nurses, physicians and other ancillary professional staff.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and ability to function effectively with little or no direct supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to the general hospital and medical center standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
  • Assists Clinical leaders and Administrator in the development of solutions to maximize access and volumes of services provided to patients at high risk for preventable readmissions and ED utilizations.
  • Develops and updates all manual of procedures and process maps.
  • Screens patients on admissions, discharge, and on readmissions using established algorithms and review of medical encounters in WakeOne.
  • Manages data for applicable databases to produce outcomes information for quality reporting and operational initiatives.
  • Provides a leadership role in driving process management. Works closely with the Administrative Director, departmental leadership, and physician leadership to identify process needs and develop plans to control and improve the processes.
  • Provides leadership for special projects as directed. Develops course of action, provides updates, feedback and reports to ensure projects are executed properly. Analyzes data and makes recommendations to promote the efficient operations of navigator programs.
  • Participates and actively leads assigned departmental taskforces, teams and committees to improve process and operational efficiencies. Supports project leadership for process/quality improvement initiatives to further the operational vision, philosophies and the Medical Centers mission for care and care coordination.
  • Participates in strategic and operational planning to design, implement, and evaluate programmatic needs and ensures that optimal service levels are provided. Demonstrates visionary, innovative, and creative thinking in organizational planning.
  • Coordinates information and operations across programs to ensure programs work effectively and efficiently together to achieve designated goals.
