About The Position
Jensen Infrastructure is recruiting a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic for our Fontana plant. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fleet equipment while ensuring all work complies with DOT guidelines and safety standards. This position will be based in Fontana initially and is expected to transition to our Lancaster facility within the next couple of years.
Requirements
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
- 1 – 2 years of experience preferably in an industrial setting.
- Familiar with Diesel Engines, Brake System, Hydraulics.
- Familiar with DOT requirements.
- Self-motivated and able to perform role with minimal direction.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, operate, and maintain diesel trucks, forklifts, and other mobile equipment.
- Assist drivers with vehicle-related issues as needed.
- Perform DOT-required inspections in accordance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed on equipment.
