Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related experience as a Shop Foreman, Fleet Maintenance Manager, or equivalent leadership role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Minimum requirement).
• Proven proficiency utilizing Fleet Maintenance Software to track assets, parts, labor, service entries,and work orders.
• Automotive / Truck Maintenance & Repair
• Trailer Suspension Systems (Torsion / Leaf)
• Hubs, Bearings, Seals
• Disc & Drum Brake Systems
• Electrical Systems & Troubleshooting
• Welding & Fabrication
• Upfitting & Customization
• DOT Compliance

Nice To Haves

• Some continued education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shop workflow, schedule repairs, oversee technicians and shop staff to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Ensure absolute adherence to Palmetto Yacht Management’s proprietary Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Oversee the customization, modification, and preventative maintenance of our RAM trucks and custom trailers using our Fleet Maintenance Software.
• Conduct rigorous equipment inspections and enforce a culture of safety and precision throughout the shops.
