About The Position

United Fleet Management (UFM) in West Valley City, Utah, is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Lot Tech to join their team. This role is the primary point of contact for preparing customer vehicles for lease, ensuring each step is managed with accuracy and efficiency. The position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a starting pay of $17.00/hr and full-time benefits.

Requirements

• Exceptional manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Must meet the physical demands of the role, including Lifting and carrying 20 to 50lbs, Standing and walking for extended periods, Confident and capable of driving large pickup trucks safely.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with minor buffing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform exterior and interior vehicle cleaning for customers picking up vehicles 24 hours in advance.
• Monitor the schedule for same-day customer additions and prepare vehicles for pickup accordingly.
• Complete paperwork, take photos of the prepared vehicle, and park it in the customer parking area.
• Provide tablet and keys to the Delivery Team.
• Ensure all vehicles on the lot are locked at the end of each day.
• Serve as backup for customer-returned vehicles and transport pickup/drop-offs.
• Assist the Delivery team with addressing battery issues as needed.
• Help keep the lot organized.
• Assist with Monthly Physical Inventory.
• Assist with vehicle pickup and drop-off to and from service centers.
• Assist with occasional projects.
